Terra Quente EP1

ABOUT

This short documentary is the first episode in a series exploring the stories of artists who navigate their relationship with their craft in unique ways, revealing different disciplines and multiple facets of the people behind them. For this first chapter, we had the pleasure of collaborating with Terra Quente, a ceramics project rooted in the calm and stillness of working with clay, while highlighting Rita’s versatility as both a ceramicist and architect.

CASE STUDY

THE CHALLENGE //

Portray not only the craft of ceramics, but also why Rita, both an architect and ceramicist, feels the need to slow down and find refuge in working with clay.

THE APPROACH //

We let the story emerge through Rita’s own voice, accompanied by glimpses of a piece taking shape from beginning to end. The film moves at a natural, unhurried pace that reflects the subject itself.

THE EXECUTION //

An observational and naturalistic approach, capturing genuine moments of Rita in her own space through a cinematic lens.

O RESULTADO //

A short documentary that opens a series dedicated to artists and their crafts, revealing not only Rita the ceramicist, but also the architect who found in clay a space to slow down.
